Video and film recording on site
DMEXCO 2026:
Generally, filming is allowed on the exhibition grounds during exhibition hours without special permission. The only requirement is prior registration by email to dmexco-frequencies@ueberkopf.de.
Recording of conference stages and masterclass rooms is generally not permitted. Exceptions are the own sessions. Here, compliance with the GDPR must be observed.
The filming must not block any escape routes or significantly disrupt the flow of visitors. Additionally, DMEXCO's in-house events must not be disrupted.
In this case, the house rules of our exhibitors at their stands apply. It is therefore recommended to briefly discuss with the individual exhibitor whether and where filming is okay and whether, for example, queues can/may be bypassed.
On the other hand, the right to one's own image of our visitors applies, which means that for filming for (commercial) purposes, the consent of the people appearing in the video must be obtained.
Should a tour take place outside of our "normal" opening hours for private visitors or access to the premises before or after the trade show opening, this must be discussed with us in a timely manner.
For nighttime filming, a permit must be obtained from the fairgrounds security (contact us).
Drone recordings are also only possible with authorisation and require approx. 6 weeks lead time.
