What are the assembly and dismantling times?

Additional information about the construction

  • Work that produces large amounts of dust must cease by 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
  • All of the aisles must be completely clear by 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
  • Upon request, Koelnmesse can permit stand construction to begin earlier. Early stand construction costs the following amounts per stand area: from Friday, September 18, 2026 (from 6:00 AM): per day €1500.00 (6:00 AM to 10:00 PM), per night € 970.00 (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
  • The storage of material is also considered to be construction.
  • Special permit forms are available for a fee at exhibitor@dmexco.com. 
    Early stand construction must be registered with Koelnmesse by Friday, August 28, 2026.
  • For each violation the Koelnmesse is entitled to impose a penalty for breach of contract of up to €5,000.00.
  • In general, vehicles will be granted access to the grounds until 5:00 PM on the last day of construction September 22, 2026. 

Additional information about dismantling

  • Upon request, Koelnmesse can permit the dismantling period to be extended
    until 10:00 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
  • This extension costs €1,500.00 per day (6:00 AM to 10:00 PM) and €970.00 per night (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM). The storage of material is also considered to be dismantling.
  • Special permits subject to a charge are available at exhibitor@dmexco.com.
    Extended dismantling must be registered with Koelnmesse by Friday, August 28, 2026.
  • Dismantling may not begin before 5:30 PM on September 24, 2026.
  • Dismantling the trade fair stand and/or the product presentation before the
    official end of the event represents a serious infringement of the Conditions of
    Participation.
  • In the event of any violation of this condition, Koelnmesse is entitled to impose a fine of up to €5,000.00 (depending on the severity of the violation) for each such violation and/or to exclude the exhibitor from subsequent events.
